Towards 2019 Elections : Delta State PPA Exco And Candidates Holds A Collaborative Meeting

In a bid to synergize towards the 2019 elections, the Delta State Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA Executives and the Delta State Governorship Candidate, Dr. O'Diakpo Obire, the candidates of House of Representatives and House of Assembly from Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts held a collaborative meeting at the prestigious TM Hotels and Suites along Airport Road, Effurun,Delta State.

The meeting was presided by the Delta State PPA chairman, Mr. Fred Obi who assured the candidates that the Party will give the necessary support to them during the electioneering campaigns.

Also speaking, the Delta State PPA Governorship Candidate, Dr.Obire charged the party leadership to work closely with all candidates in the 2019 elections, saying, "we should consolidate on the structures, unity and cohesion of the party from the unit to the ward, local government and State levels to ensure victory for our party."

Also speaking, the other PPA Candidates applauded the State Party chairman and members of the Executive Committee for convening the meeting and there is the need for collaboration to ensure victory for all PPA Candidates in the 2019 elections, they submitted.

At the end of the meeting which lasted hours, the Party Exco and Candidates rose with the the following resolutions, that;

all members present unanimously agreed to work as a team to ensure victory for all PPA Candidates in 2019 elections.

All PPA Candidates should go back to their various constituencies to start the arrangement and mobilization for the  campaigns flag off.

The party reaffirmed that the decision of the PPA National Exco as it  relates to the CUPP is only on adoption of a particular Presidential Candidate and not Governorship or other electoral positions in Delta State.

Present at the meeting were majority of the members of the State Exco,the Gubernatorial Candidate as well as other party Candidates.
