ASABA - THE Delta State Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. O'Diakpo Obire has congratulated and welcome Deltans to 2019.

In his New Year message personally signed by him and made available to the press by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Musa O'Karo Ugasa, Dr. Obire reassured Deltans that a new Delta is possible when elected as Governor in the forthcoming general elections.

He therefore urged Deltans at home and abroad to embrace peace and look beyond political party, popularity, or regular faces and support a credible candidate who can entrenched good governance in the polity for the overall benefit of the masses especially the teeming youths of the State.

In his words, "as the 2019 governorship elections draw nearer, I wish to call on Deltans to look critically at the situation of the State as it affects their lives, economy, family and make choice from the candidates who has the capacity, vision, credibility and ideologies to liberate the State and reposition it on the path of sustainable development". Deltans need good governance.

Speaking further, the Delta State Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, Gubernatorial Candidate, Dr. O'Diakpo Obire posited that, Nigeria can become a better country when our leaders are youth - driven. He implored the eligible Delta people to vote for youthful, energetic and credible candidate with great vision to move the State forward.

In the same vein, Dr. Obire reassured the teeming Delta youths of his readiness and determination to run a youthful government and promised to position them positively, if elected.

" Our youths should be given the opportunity to be part of governance and contribute their quotas for the development of the State", he reassured.

Dr. Obire however, wishes Deltans a peaceful, productive and prosperous New Year, he concluded.
