Delta Guber 2019: Idumeje – Unor Agog As Dr. Obire’s Campaign Train Pays Visit to The Obi’s Palace

ISSELE - UKU - A mammoth crowd received the Delta State Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, gubernatorial candidate, Dr. O'diakpo Obire, his running mate, Engr. Rex Biose and other notable chieftains of the party at the palace of His Royal Majesty, Charles Chukwuayeke Anyasi, III, JP., the Obi of Idumuje - Unor in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Idumuje - Unor is the hometown of the Delta State PPA Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate, Engr. Rex Biose, in the March 02, 2019 election.

In his address in the palace of the Obi of Idumuje-Unor, Dr. O'diakpo Obire, thanked the Royal Father for the privilege accorded him and his entourage for the courtesy visit. He thereafter solicited for the blessing of the Royal Father and the support of the people of Idumuje - Unor community for the actualization of his governorship aspiration.

Dr. Obire promised to be a Pan - Deltan Governor and to ensure even development of the State, if elected.

In his words, "It is my promise to run a youth- friendly government that would engage the teeming youths in governance at one level or the other. Our government will ensure Delta youths are economically empowered to attain real prosperity."

"Provision of standard healthcare facilities to the people, women empowerment and industrialization that would create job opportunities for Deltans are on top of our agenda"

Dr. Obire thereafter enjoined the people to vote for PPA to positively turn things for Deltans and liberate Delta State from the shackles of poor governance.

On his part, the Delta State PPA deputy gubernatorial candidate, Engr. Rex Biose also appealed to his people to support his party, PPA, in the forthcoming elections and promised to meet their yearnings and aspirations.

Highlight of the visit was the offering of blessing to Dr. O'diakpo Obire and his running mate, Engr. Rex Biose, by the Obi of Idumuje-Unor, HRM. Charles C. Anyasi, III, JP. The Royal Father further encouraged them to work hard, saying, "victory doesn't come on a platter". He wished the candidates victory and urged them to keep their promises when they are elected.
